Organisational Model and Code of Ethics

Leg. Decree 231/2001

In February 2013, Bft adopted the Organisational Model, a system whereby the Company adopts an appropriate conduct to prevent possible offences under Leg. Decree 231/2001.

Legislative Decree 231/2001 introduced into the Italian regulations not only the responsibility of companies for certain offences committed in their interest or to their advantage, but above all the possibility for businesses to adopt an Organisational Model which constitutes an important tool for a system of ethical, safe and responsible work, in the interests of all.

Aware of the need to ensure correctness and transparency in running its business and economic activity, and to safeguard the work of its employees, the expectations of its partners and its image, Bft S.p.a. decided to adopt and implement an Organisation, Management and Control Model in accordance with the above-mentioned Leg. Decree 231/2001.

This initiative, which follows the implementation of management systems complying with standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and UNI INAIL, the gradual integration of these systems in "Model 231" and the enactment of a new Code of Ethics, was undertaken in the belief that adopting the Model can be an important tool for raising awareness with regard to all those parties who interact with the company, at any level, so that in the performance of their activities they operate with correctness, attention and responsibility.
