Technologies
An evolution of the U-Link communication protocol, U-Link 2.0 retains robust data protection, the open approach which allows it to adapt to numerous different communication languages whilst its scalability means there are no limits to the objects (B-eba) connected to the network. At the same time, it has evolved to allow information to be sent but also receive from the control unit, creating bi-directional communication. It also supports OTA technology allowing the firmware to be updated remotely. With this newer, enhanced performance protocol, the control unit can be programmed using a dedicated app and a lot of the information can be managed either locally (via Bluetooth) or remotely (wifi/GSM), improving the user experience.
